Radio Thrift Shop is a show that evolves and changes every few months. It is primarily an homage to freeform radio broadcasts of the 1960s and early 1970s. Radio Thrift Shop features a homegrown mix of vinyl records, 78s, 45's, LPs, private press releases, and a variety of tapes and homemade / self released cds. Each edition features a unique playlist of music released between the early 20th century & next week.

Discussing his recent (August) article,"'Hamilton' The Musical:" Black Actors Dress Up like Slave Traders and Its Not Halloween," Ishmael Reed brings to life the irony and sadness of Black Americans (as well as Latinos) participating in a recent Broadway blockbuster, "Hamilton" that paints a false picture of Alexander Hamilton as an abolitionist.
Reed points out that Hamilton bought and sold slaves on behalf of his wealthy in-laws and that Washington and Jefferson owned and mistreated slaves. Half of the slaves on Washingtonâs plantation were described by witnesses as bi-racial.

Terrorist leader, Zahran Alloush, and some of his cohorts were killed Christmas day by a missile strike outside of Damascus.
Alloush, known for his baiting, hatred and threatening to annihilate Islamic Alawi and Shia, was part of US plan to create a war between the Sunni and Shia, a "Brzezinski dream" of having Muslims killing each other. The US was working to have Alloush transferred from a terrorist list to a moderate rebel list.
Taylor reminds the listener that the Syrian army is mostly Sunni (not Alawi nor Shia) and that Syria is a secular government not based on religious fundamentalism.
If one is going to mention Russia being an ally of Syria, one must also acknowledge that Saudi Arabia is an ally of the US and Canada, which provide their Saudi terrorist friends with millions of dollars worth of military weapons.
British Judge Denies Extradition of Five Rwandans

Judge Arbuthnot made the unusual but welcomed decision not to extradite the five Rwandans on trail --Vincent Brown (aka Vincent Bajinya), Charles Munyazeza, Emmanuel Nteziryayo, Celestin Ugirashebuja and Celestin Mutabaruka-Requested persons
This decision is a welcome break from the ICTR and Canada extraditing Rwandans with no more than a promise from Kagame's Rwanda that the clients would get a fair trial in Rwanda.

Happy New Years, Merry Christmas and Bless all ye faithful out there who love this world and this country, we are in for a very interesting year. This is an election year, hence the reason for the clips ending with the British explanation of governmental elections; we are entering the first quarter of the financial year, a time when interest rates will rise slightly, oil prices and amazingly low, currency wars are heating up and the banks want more austerity in the United States â not to mention, China owns $70 billion dollars worth of infrastructure and buildings (sure they do, remember when China was trying to buy several United States ports worth somewhere in the area of half that sum, they own much more of this country than we like to think about). My point is this, Rest in Peace Tamir Rice and Rest in Peace to the Good Oleâ Constitution, the Class War Battlefield is littered with the debris of Wall Streets Greed and yet the People seem content to let them sell the country from underneath them. Change is definitely blowing in the wind.

Further discourse looks at the public testimony of Antonio LeGrier on the US news programme CNN speaking on the police murder of his son Quintonio LeGrier and his neighbour, community activist Bettie Jones and why his grief should be a wake up call to the American African community to begin analysing institutional xenophobia from an international perspective. More discussion centres around routine racist police brutality against Africans, Spanish-speaking immigrants, Arabs, Muslims and other ethnic minorities within the United States and the sad state of the 2016 presidential election cycle and the rise of right-wing populist politics after the election of Barack H.
