Plym and Enis were on duty aboard the USS Ronald Reagan nuclear aircraft carrier during the Fukushima nuclear crisis. The ship was sent to provide emergency relief as the reactors were melting down. Crew were not informed by the Captain of the radiation plume that they were moving through. Crew whose duties took them outside the ship were exposed to radiation. As Quartermasters their work took them outside of the ship like the deck hands, aircraft mechanics and aircrew. Both relate their experience, the misinformation provided them by their superiors, the ill effects they are now experiencing along with over 100 of their former shipmates and the health-care crisis they endure because the Navy will not pay for their medical bills following their discharge.

Reality Sandwich had run for over six years and though there were some new parts of the assassination puzzle emerging, the weekly show was starting to sound stale. Paul Kangas had started to introduce alternative medicine into the show.
But there was new information from the murder of Dr Martin Luther King. His son had recently been on ABC news, calling for a new investigation. Though Kangas had discussed the US Army use of snipers to track King for the final years of his life, the general public was still not aware of this.
And there was still celebration upon the recent release of Geronimo ji Jaga, held prisoner for decades for a murder he did not commit. The FBI had an informant following him, who knew he was in Oakland when a murder happened in southern California. They never interceded, and the guilty party is still free while Geronimo sat in prison. That informant is now a judge in Los Angeles.

Finding the assassins of Dr Martin Luther King is the primary topic of this episode of Reality Sandwich. Four years into the Clinton administration the luster was off the Democrat, and his inability to get justice for decades of depraved political jackels was becoming old. The King family was calling for a new trial for James Earl Ray, as they didn't believe he did the shooting.
Much was known about the King assassination, but the Department of Justice couldn't be bothered. Newt Gingrich was sporting assassination as a hobby, and old allies were showing no promise.
At least the efforts of lawyers for Geronimo ji Jaga had finally gotten him released after decades of solitary confinement.
And Paul Kangas' medical studies had led him to methods to heal the heart.

Musician, songwriter and political activist Victor Jara was one of many Chileans detained, tortured and killed by the Pinochet regime. The film Victor Jara: The Right to Live in Peace describes the story of how Jara rose to international prominence as a Chilean folk singer. Wladimir Wertelecki: Congenital Malformations in the Ukraine and the Chernobyl Accident

When Wladimir Wertelecki took the podium at the Fukushima Symposium in New York City he clearly stated that he was presenting breaking news. As this program goes to broadcast in May, 2013, two month after his talk, no major media and no international agency have taken up this report.
Wertelecki presented the results of OMNI-Net Ukraine's Congenital Malformations Monitoring Program; the results of ten years of scientific study of birth defects of children and their possible relation to ionizing radiation. Since 2000 OMNI-Net scientists have conducted research of the Rivne, Polissia region just north-west of the exploded Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
They found statistically higher than normal incidents of the most heartbreaking birth defects: NTD, Neural Tube Defects of the brain or spinal cord; Anencephaly, where most of the brain and skull do not develop; Microcephaly, a condition in which the circumference of the head and the brain size are smaller than normal.
The data are collected under strict scientific protocols. They are based on a population registry of every baby born in the last ten years with 15,000 measurements; as well as whole body radiation counts that include pregnant women, with a data base of 20,000.
