On June 3, Brigette DePape disrupted the Speech from the Throne by taking out a sign that read âStop Harperâ. Following her protest, she was immediately removed and fired from her job. Since these events, she has spoken widely about the reasons she took this action. Brigette DePape was in Vancouver at the end of October. Her talk was titled âThinking Outside the Ballot Boxâ.
