Alice Nsabimana and family collaborated to produce a seminal text, published by Baraka Books, that presents a vital picture of a Rwandan family at a time of political crisis in the Great Lakes region of Africa, a picture that shatters all the cliched shallow journalism about that tragic country. The book also provides never before words and notes of General Nsabimana which should cause a rethinking by all the usual "experts" on what occurred in that country as it defended against RPF invasion from Uganda. If you want to know the reality, the real story, read this book.

On September 17, 2023, over 75,000 joined the New York City “March to End Fossil Fuels” making it the largest demonstration pressuring President Biden to stop supporting the fossil fuel industry. The march took place ahead of the UN Climate Ambition Summit (Sept. 20, 2023).
That was a first-of-its-kind meeting hosted by the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. He is asking heads of state to bring concrete steps to keep fossil fuels in the ground when they come to Dubai in December for the upcoming COP28, the Conference Of Parties. Many see the COP28 as the last opportunity to take action to end global warming.
The Indigenous Environmental Network (IEN) is a coalition of indigenous, and grassroots environmental justice activists, primarily based in the United States. Group members have represented Indigenous Peoples concerns at international events such as the United Nations Climate Change conferences in Copenhagen and Paris.

There is wisdom is knowing a genuine emergency from one perceived by a trauma stricken ego, operating under wounded conditions, suffering from fatigued struggle to heal itself while fighting through deliberate maltreatment from processing Being. When afflicted by trauma, the mind sees shadows cast by natural light as harbingers of oncoming danger; so it is the cultural “wars” the right has occupied their base with these last 40 years. When unafflicted, the mind sees these same shadows and accurately follows them to their source. We live in a country racked by trauma created by the economic conditions imposed by a Capitalist Class who sees shadows dancing on the wall, and believes them to be reality not a distorted projection from a tumbling flame atop a man created fire (thanks Chris Hedges for the imagery). While they are not delusional enough to believe the fire to be non-existent and its origins lay not with man; they mistake the outcome of the fire, the shadows, as reality created by man’s hand and involvement. In these statements you’ll find the twisted logic propelling the government shutdown, government downsizing and ultimately, the government displacement by corporate controllers; towards the future we now live in.
Music Used in the opening, Curtis Mayfield’s Think, Brandy’s The Definition and Marvin Gaye’s Inner City Blues
