Manski and Grave organized a demonstration to help start a movement to amend the Constitution so that rights granted to indivuals do not apply to corporations.

BSTF 828 - The Year Of The Dog

Aug. 22, 2010, 7:33 a.m.
The Lymph Node Institute celebrates "The Year of the Dog!" Well, they did in January of 2006, I think it was--but what better way to spend the dog days of summer than listening to a plethora of dog-themed bulldada! As always, Doc Ellis turns an insightful eye on the subject and analyzes the meta-significances that escape us--and as he dissects Pink Man's Best Friend, he draws some disturbing lines of connection between canine and homosap along the way. Gotta love those doktors of the Lymph Node Institute! But trust me--it won't make them merciful later.

20AUG2010: T. Rex, Tony Visconti, Donovan, Eno, etc.

Aug. 21, 2010, 2:48 p.m.
Focus on the Tony Visconti-produced T. Rex album Electric Warrior. It's been one of my favorite records since a friend turned me on to it back in the 80s. So I thought I'd pick a few songs off it, plus covers, other Visconti-produced songs, some Donovan (closer to early Marc Bolan material), Brian Eno, and similar sounds. www.wrir.org/index.php?/blog/entry/936
