Clarke reading from his book, actually explaining all the trippy light-
show parts in concrete words. You'll drift through an ethereal mix of
a shitload of versions of "Also Sprach Zarathustra," ending with a
Tater-pleasin' bluegrass trip called "The Arkansas Time Traveler" by
the Star Spangled Washboard Band--whom, it turns out, became Blotto,
the band who did the superb send-up of the lounge-lizard genre "The
NowTones," which opens the "Monsters of the Lounge" episode of BSTF.
As the SSWB, they weave an absolutely apeshit medley of "ASZ," "Time
Won't Let Me," and "Time Out" --and man, was Brubeck ever made for the
electric mandolin!
