These thoughts are very inspiring to rethink how we act and how we can increase the disruption of the Olympics and of the system and go further. Sly Stone "Brave and Strong", Mickey and the Soul Generation, Prophet Soul, Serge Gainsbourg, and Ernie K Doe. Little Anne, Roy Porter with "Party Time". Otis Redding and King Floyd sing "Hard to Hand", an all time classic. Wilson Pickett, also with a classic "Sugar, sugar". I ended the show with a fly remix of "The Message vs. Breakestra, Family Rap". Squeeze that funky stuff!

On November 3rd the workers at SK Hand Tools, members of Teamsters Local 743, called off their 10 week old strike. The soon after signed a contract saving their health care and pension benefits, though at the cost of serious wage cut. The workers who went out on strike originally because the company had canceled the health coverage without informing theme see the new contract as a victory and held a party to celebrate last Friday. Will here from the SK workers on tonight’s program why the think there decision to strike eventual brought them success. On the International scene, the military coup in Honduras drags on after a U.S. brokered agreement to have Manuel Zelaya reinstated as the legimate president fell apart over the past couple weeks. While here from Alexy Lanza od La Voz de los de Abajo about the situation in Honduras as the Nov. 29th presidential elections draw ever closer. Will also here about new emerging labor struggles in the Chicago area, one involving member of UE at the Bissel products warehouse in Chicago’s southwest suburbs and one at Pain Dry Ice involving members of Teamsters Local 705.
