Adil Charkaoui was arrested under a Canadian security certificate in May 2003. In June 2009. he was finally allowed to leave Montreal and went on a speaking tour across Canada. In this talk recorded in Vancouver, he speaks about what he calls the Kafka-esque experiences of the past six years and his ongoing struggle to clear his name. Missing: Eight million fish

Fisheries and Oceans Canada estimated that more than ten million sockeye salmon were going to return to the Fraser River this year. Now they say there'll only be two million. Fisheries biologist Joe Proboszcz says the DFO knew something was wrong back in 2007 but didn't raise the alarm. He's calling for an inquiry into what went wrong.
