Salvation Farms Gleaning & Revolution in a Bottle

Theresa Snow founded Salvations Farms, a gleaning program that donated the food to food pantries. The Vermont Food Bank has adopted the program and taken it state-wide.
Tom Szaky, author of Revolution in a Bottle, describes how he started selling worm poop in reused plastic bottles and went on to build TerraCycle, a national company that sells products made from garbage. Szaky also explains why he'd rather sell his products through big-box stores than locally owned businesses.

This past weekend we got to see one of our favorite bands. The Extraordinaires played a show in Charlottesville last Saturday. They were going to play a show in Richmond, but it got canceled. Next time they roll through I have made it my mission to make sue they have a place to play, so they can bring the good people of RVA a taste of their wonder. Besides that Cayman and I are playing alot of Shoegaze and Psychedelic music tonight.
