IRAQ Twenty Years after “SHOCK AND AWE.” The Wealthy Prevail at the Expense of World Safety and Freedom
March 24, 2023, 12:26 a.m.
This episode of the Global Research News Hour marks the 20th anniversary of the Assault which marked a turning point for many Americans living the shame of the crusade supposedly for Weapons of Mass Destruction. Over the next hour, we will hear the voices of several individuals reflecting on the crimes of the past two decades toward the Iraqi people, and even to the people carrying out these acts of barbarism. And we will hear about the levels of skullduggery considered to keep the citizenry focused on the task of getting the premise for the war secured. We will evaluate the United Nations and the mainstream corporate media as not only compliant but as an accomplice in the enterprise. And we shall take a look at the legacy the orchestrators set for the US and it’s NATO Partners in the lead-up to the War on Ukraine, which at a time of escalation, China is now trying to negotiate a ceasefire and peace treaty.

Sonic Cafe #331/When The Glass Is Half Empty
March 23, 2023, 10:15 p.m.
Sonic Café with Radiohead from their controversial In Rainbows album. Controversial because it was self-released in 2007 as a pay-what-you-want download, which sent a shock through the music industry, which was largely praised by the media and other artists. So ahh yeah, welcome to the café, I’m Scott Clark and this is episode 331. This time the Sonic Café pulls our mix from 37 years or so. Listen for Audioslave, Bill Conti, Adrian Belew, and a great Badfinger tune from 1970. Listen for No Matter What You Are, near the bottom of the hour. Then we play two tunes at once in the first in our mash-ups series. We’ll spin a Jack White and Eurythimics mash-up of Seven Nation Army and Sweet Dreams. Oh and, Sebastian Maniscalco drops by to tell us how the move into his new house is going, in something we’re calling the glass is half empty. And finally a big shout out to Gregory Sword who enjoys the Sonic Café’s every Saturday on WSLR 96.5 FM in Sarasota, Florida. So thanks Greg, and thanks to the nice folks at WSLR. Hey, let us know where you’re listening by emailing me at Sonic Café Radio at gmail.com. So ahh let’s dive in. From 1979 this is Joy Division with Transmission, and as always, we’re the Sonic Café.

Professor John Mearsheimer on the "special relationship" with Israel (R)
March 23, 2023, 6:08 p.m.
This week we continue our exploration of the so called special relationship between the United States and Israel, a relationship that guarantees the continuing world power of this Apartheid state while it carries out its brutal military occupation of Palestinian land. In March of 2006, John Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago, and Steven Walt of Harvard published their seminal book, The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy, revealing the machinations of the powerful Israeli Lobby. Mearsheimer has stayed with the subject ever since. Here he gives an update to the Special US/Israel relationship as he sees it through his research. We begin with his introduction at a forum sponsored by the Washington Report on Middle East ‘affairs in Washington, DC. (Originally presented 8-7-2022.)
Trade Runners w/ Rich Friesen: Ep. 6, Conversations with Money
March 23, 2023, 4:22 p.m.
In the Sixth and Penultimate (yes, that is the correct use of the word!) episode of our limited series with Rich Friesen of Mind Muscles Academy, Money is the focal point of the conversation, and our relationship with it. Diving deeper into the topics covered in Rich's recent book, Rich helps Kyle better understand his view of money and the ways that view directly impacts his trading. This month's homework assignment is an exercise to practice visualizing the future we wish to have, so be sure to visit Conversations.Money/2Bulls to take advantage of the guided visualizations bundle to assist with the assignment!
If you have a question to submit for next month's episode, email it to 2bulls@financialineptitude.com or post it in our Discord.

Homework:
Practice stepping into the broader future of the trader you wish to become (the house, cars, money, etc.) and notice any voices, guilt, shame or parts of you that resist the change.
Negotiate with those parts in order to better understand what about those changes is scary to your subconscious.
Keep practicing until you can step into that mindset without any stress or resistance from yourself.

If youd like to propose a guest or a topic for a future program, write directly to Laura at lkuhn@johncage.org.Laura Kuhn presents the first recording of John Cages Europera 5, preceded by her reading Recollections of the Premiere Performance by Yvar Mikhashoff. This recording of Europera 5 was produced by Brian Brandt and released on the Mode Records label as Mode 36 in 1995, with performers Yvar Mikhashoff, Martha Herr, Gary Burgess, Jan Williams, and Don Metz. Europera 5 is the last and most diminutive of Cages operas " preceded by Europeras 1 & 2 (1984-1987) and Europeras 3 & 4 (1991) " and was instigated by pianist Yvar Mikashoffs desire for a small, more practical and portable, and more easily performed work in the series, which had its premiere in Buffalo at the North American New Musical Festival on April 12, 1991.

March 21, 2023, 10:40 p.m.
What do vaccines, climate change, evolution, and the moon landing all have in common? Short answer, science! The longer, sometimes more disagreeable answer is that many of us have a whacky neighbor who doesn't believe in at least one of those things. This week on Sea Change Radio, we speak to author Lee McIntyre, whose latest book is entitled How To Talk To A Science Denier. In our wide-ranging conversation, we try to unearth some commonalities among people who latch onto conspiracy theories and eschew scientific evidence. From climate science to 5G technology, what makes people suspicious of science and what’s the most effective way to help change their minds?

WINGS #49-22 Reproductive Slavery
March 20, 2023, 9:09 p.m.
Roberts's lecture “The Long Struggle to Abolish Reproductive Slavery” traces the denial of Black women's reproductive and parenting rights to a 19th century legislative decision that the offspring of enslaved persons were considered like animals, without human rights - even if they were the children of the owner himself. Stopping mistreatment of Black families was a paramount issue of the abolitionist cause and a major reason behind the 13th and 14th Amendments to the US Constitution. But the hateful attitudes continued into modern times, and are underlying the idea that state law can dictate the terms of pregnancy and parenting, now confirmed by the US Supreme Court and applicable to all women. Roberts describes the longterm aims of Black feminists, and calls for unifying the movements for abortion rights, parental rights, and prison abolition.
