In the Spring of 1970, while lecturing sociology, professor Larry Mason had a vision of how society could escape scarcity and competition by adopting a completely new money system. After 35 years of thinking this through, he wrote a science fiction novel, "Invisible Hand", to explain his vision. His interviewer is Robin Upton, whom he emailed about Altruistic Economics, an economic system for abundance, not scarcity.
