TBR 220624 - Most Evil Persons in History Award #5*
June 24, 2022, 8:37 a.m.
This week’s archive radio show was somewhat challenging since it was posted the day after the election but at the time of recording we had no idea what was going to happen. Therefore, we provide some takeaways that were and still are relevant regardless of election results — and for the feature piece this week we nominate Roy Cohn for the Official Thunderbolt Most Evil Persons in History Award. Mr. Cohn is only the fifth nominee to earn this dubious distinction.
Yes — welcome to The Thunderbolt, where we are constantly being forced to remove our tongues from our cheeks.

Sonic Cafe #293/The Music Matters
June 23, 2022, 10:32 p.m.
Sonic Café, So Many Nights, from way down under that’s music from Cat Empire. So what’s up anyway? Welcome to our little coastal radio café, a place where the music really matters. I’m your host Scott Clark and this is episode 293. This time the Sonic Café presents a menu of really tasty music, and ahh that’s about it, really not much else to get in the way. Great tunes from the last 54 years, many of them you’ve probably never heard before. But they all work really well together. Listen for Roger Daltry, Hal 9000, Xavier Rudd, Geyster, Phantogram, Caspian, Everclear, Blackberry Smoke, and many more, including John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, released way back in 1966. We’ll let that one fly near the bottom of the hour, all in an eclectic music mix that eagerly welcomes the future, while remembering the great tunes that got us here. From the majestic Pacific Northwest we’re the Sonic Café, a place where the music really matters. From 1975 here’s Henry Gross, at the Sonic Café.

Not My Canada! A Nation in the Grip of Elites, Media and the British Empire!
June 23, 2022, 7:04 p.m.
THIS WEEK on the Global Research News Hour, as we approach the 155th anniversary of Confederation or Canada Day, we will look at the different currents affecting our national interests which by and large reflect elite interests and not the aims of average citizens. Our first guest Dimitri Lascaris joins us to talk about the position Canada has taken in geopolitical affairs and about the increasing tendency to stifle dissent in mainstream and social media. Then in our second half hour, we have a conversation with author, journalist and founder of Canadian Patriot Review Matthew Ehret who discusses the deceptions around the birth of Canada as an independent nation, and how that false belief continues to divide our genuine concerns and ambitions away from the forces acting supposedly in our interest.
