Episode 2020.0A. Trump as a Personification of The One Percent's Psychopathology
Oct. 31, 2020, 10:56 p.m.
Who is Donald Trump? Many books have been written to answer this singular question. Why did he get elected? Again, see the previous sentence; both answers are summed up in the title given to this episode, though its simplicity is deceptive. To draw from the Morris Berman clip included in this episode, Trump is America â HE REALLY IS! He is the personification of the Greed principle highly touted by the wealthy, as well as the most grotesque aspects of the Elites collective psychology. But, if that wasnât enough; he is also White Civilizations most egregious aspects rolled into one orange ball of contradictions. If youâve read any of the books published about his psychology, youâd be hard pressed not to see his personal problems as separate from this countryâs societal problems. Because I am merciful and come from a people who believe personal attacks should only come after one personally attacks you, I do not speak about his personality, but instead look at his leaving thousands of people in the cold without a way to get home after a rally, as a very interesting metaphor.

Sonic Cafe #211/Broadcasting at 1.21 Gigawatts
Oct. 29, 2020, 11:44 a.m.
Sonic Café⦠thatâs the music of Moon Hooch, so ahh welcome, Iâm your host Scott Clark and this is episode 211. This time the Sonic Café cranks it up to 1.21 gigawatts, which is like way powerful. So, to be safe, we ask that you practice a couple of safe listening techniques during this broadcast. First and foremost, do not touch your radio dial, because at 1.21 gigawatts, voltage can arc through your radio at any moment, and with this much power⦠well letâs just say we wouldnât want anything bad to happen to you. And second, maintain a safe distance from your radio⦠just in case the whole thing blows up. Take these simple precautions, and weâll all have a good time. OK? So yeah, weâve got a high-voltage music mix lined up from like the last half-century. Listen for AC/DC, Eddie Grant, Captain Beefheart & his Magic Band, Tinariwen, the Wild Bunch and many more. Then later comedian Chris Porter stops by to tell us about his Dad, a wonderful father, who also just happens to be a very bad electrician. All that and of course more, this time, as we try to convince you, in every way imaginable, that we are the most powerful radio program on planet Earth, broadcasting at ahh 1.21 gigawatts, weâre the Sonic Café.

TBR 201030 — Animal Farm*
Oct. 29, 2020, 2:55 a.m.
DO NOT MISS THIS WEEKâS SHOW! Sometimes I blow my own mind and this one is a frigging masterpiece! This is a rerun of a pre-election show we aired in 2016 and I have yet to hear anyone else better encapsulate the absurdist reality into which our election cycle has descended. And now, four years later, the style is new but the play is pretty much exactly the same.
This week the Thunderbolt waxes nostalgic and takes a look at some of the major political candidates from back in the day â and manages to do so without vomiting! Listen with due careâ¦
