April 17, 2017, 7:19 p.m.
Attorney William Pepper's latest book "The Plot to Kill King" came out in 2016. This is his speech about the book and the process of many years of investigation. He provides conclusive evidence of who killed King. I highly recommend reading the book. Everyone should know the truth about the assassination of MLK.

Vimy was a tragedy, Vimyism is poison.
April 16, 2017, 7:19 p.m.
Was a 'nation' "born" at Vimy Ridge? If so, which 'nation?' Jamie Swift discusses his new book, "The Vimy Trap, or How We Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Great War."
Accounts from surviving veterans conflict with the notion that Canada's participation in the senseless meat-grinder of the First World War led to a patriotic conscience. And the introduction of conscription nearly tore 'Canada' apart, placing immense strain on French-English relations.
Thousands of Canadians were drowned in mud and blown to bits and pieces in a war that solved nothing. There is today a jarring disconnect between the Canadian mourning and soul-searching, seen in monuments and other remembrances, and the 'valour' and 'glory' that our government and NGOs now promote.

Overstanding a Manufactured Hysteria: Or, Why Witnessing Afro-Revisionists Sip Nazi Kool-Aid is Ideologically Painful
April 16, 2017, 12:34 p.m.
This spoken word dispatch features FWR host @TheAngryindian addressing the prevalence of nonsensical conspiracy theories circulating within the American Afro-Urban community due to the dissemination of false information spread by misinformed, Afrocentrist extremists who routinely (and ignorantly) pluck their 'research notes' from the very same pro-European propaganda machine they habitually criticise. Unwittingly, many Black conservatives sound just like neo-Nazi historical revisionists because they are going by bogus information gleaned from far-Right/anti-Abortion /Libertarian/Paleoconservative/neo-Nazi authored websites seeking to muddy the intellectual waters towards a pro-Ayran worldview through Pseudohistory and Pseudoarchaeology tilted to favour a European superman theme, or their bastardisation of Nietzsche's theoretical 'Ãbermensch'. This odd situation exists to some degree within the current formation of the American left-wing and is especially prominent amongst many who self-define themselves as advocates of the US 'Hard-Left', but it is particular true within the Afrocentric underground. This is a strange situation since socialist principles demand an uncompromising anti-fascist position in all regards; politically as well as socially. And with Afrocentrists, this makes absolutely no sense at all. In the second half of the show, the host deconstructs a hopelessly misogynist debate: [Polight Vs GMS Israelites Is Rape Legal In Gods Kingdom? - YouTube] to illustrate his criticisms and hopes to encourage discussion and debate in the African World in regards to how we gather and digest information.
All this and much more on, 4WR.

NYC Bakery Workers threatened by Homeland Security

Immigrant Food Factory Workers Threatened with Mass Termination Choose Resistance
Not One Step Back - 'Ni Uno Paso Atras'
Dozens at Tom Cat Bakery in Queens given 10 days notice of dismissal following investigation by Trumps Dept. of Home-land Security
---
Longtime employees demanded company stand up to federal governments probe
with
Diana Marino, lead organizer and
Tom Cat Bakery worker Hector Solis, from Brandworkers, a non-profit organization that brings food manufacturing workers together to fight for good jobs and a sustainable food system
Tom Cat Bakery workers are protesting the threatened mass firing of dozens of immigrant workers following a Department of Homeland Security investigation. As members of a labor organization called
Brandworkers, the workers decided to stand united and call for resistance from around the country.Their last protest was held outside Trump Tower in Manhattan and included numerous NYC elected officials
Sabino Milian, a worker at the factory and member of Brandworkers said We refuse to be thrown away like the bakery's garbage, and we will advance forward together. The workers, many of whom have a decade of experience or more at the citys oldest artisanal bakery, have said We work hard, pay taxes and have given so much to make Tom Cat into a hugely successful company. Tom Cat officials told workers that the Department of Homeland Security had been
investigating the company and then told almost 30 workers they would be fired if they do not provide new employment documents.
Workers demanded the company stick up for its employees rather than cower to the Trump administrations bullying. Workers called on management to cooperate with them to explore challenges to the Dept. of Homeland Security investigation. More broadly, Tom Cat employees called on fellow workers around the country,
particularly immigrants, indigenous peoples, African Americans and other marginalized communities to rise with them, culminating in a General Strike on May 1.

April 16, 2017, 8:10 a.m.
A fine audio collage--originally titled "Capital Games"--by Chazk, a.k.a. Virtual Renderings. An intriguing and sometimes rocking blend of satire, music, and also analysis by several voices (among them Richard Wolff's). It explores the economic problems of our time--fallling wages, consumer debt, overwork, unemployment, decline of manufacturing, corrupt politicians, crooked banks and bankers, soaring corporate profits, and stratospheric executive salaries ... among others.
