Dr. Leopold Munyakazi Must Not Become Another Victim...

Aug. 25, 2016, 1:39 p.m.
The Rev. Dr. Ntagengwa speaks out for the Dr. Munyakazi who faces possible removal from the US to Kagame’s prisons. Dr. Munyakazi exercised his right to freedom of speech by giving a lecture advancing his informed opinion of what caused the terrible war and subsequent massacres in 1994 Rwanda, many years after the events. But the Kagame government, a close ally of the US, does not brook opposition from anywhere in the world and they immediately trumped up charges and demanded the US turnover the one who dared to contradict their state narrative. Many are shocked that Dr. Munyakazi is being held and threatened now with removal from the US. Rev. Dr. Ntagengwa calls on people of conscience to demand Dr. Munyakazi’s freedom.

The US and Belgium Still Scheming Against Democratic Government of Burundi

Aug. 25, 2016, 1:26 p.m.
Some months ago America and its allies tried to coerce the African Union to send troops to interfere in the internal politics of Burundi with the goal of destabilizing and removing the government. That exercise failed, but since that time there have been a number of assassinations of Burundian leaders. As in so many other cases where the game is regime change the US and Belgium has exploited the acts of terror, trying to place blame on the targeted government. But, as Mr. Tazira points out “history” has become a factor. The people of the Great Lakes region and Burundi have seen these games before and are much more prepared to defend themselves.

It's about the corruption of "the System," the ever-increasing power of "the one percent," the betrayal of the people by the Democratic and Republican parties, the century-long crackdown on dissent, and our increasingly meaningless national politics, in which our nation's real and pressing problems are seldom even mentioned--let alone debated, let alone put to a vote. (Continued under "Credits.")
