Amy Baker Benjamin asks why, given both any abundance of evidence, and ample historical precedent for the use of false flags to initiate wars, has the UN singularly failed to carry out any investigation into the US government's claims surrounding the events of Sep 11th? Any why does >99% of academic scholarship on the topic not tackle substantive issues such as who actually carried out 9/11 and on what grounds? In our second hour, we hear a recent interview with Chris Bollyn which connects more of the 9/11 dots, pointing the finger at Mossad.

Married to a Frenchman, Strykerâs French citizenship gave her an entré into a post-revolutionary Cuba that Americans were generally denied. Her interview subjects include those who would attain iconic stature, such as Che Guevara and Fidel Castro and other members of âthe Twelveâ (the revolutionary government) and those who played a less publicized, but no less pivotal revolutionary role, including Celia Sanchez and Vilma Espin. She also talks to ordinary Cubans who are trying to navigate a new path that is anything but certain.

In this episode of Back in the USSR I give my thoughts on the UK's "Brexit" vote and discuss why separation from the European Union is an essential condition for the construction of socialism and working class self-determination in the British Isles. The EU is an imperialist bloc of capitalist states that enforces austerity on working class people, facilitates fascism, and brutalizes migrants. It should not be supported by progressive-minded people under any circumstances. In addition, I continue to discuss my book, Proletarian God: Building the Socialist Future, this time focusing on the Proletarian Guard, the central institution of the Universal Republic.

The British elites have clashed over how to maintain a hegemonic status vis a vis Europe. The elements around Boris entertain hopes of better terms with Germany and France but are unlikely to get them. The US is interested because it uses Britain as a proxy for its aggressive policies in Europe. One early benefit of Brexit may be a slowing of the US led drive to provoke Russia.

He marched on Washington; called for voting rights in the heat of the Mississippi summer; & walked from Selma to Montgomery. He later broadened his demand for equality, advocating for gay rights. In 2000, he was arrested twice for protesting the United Methodist Churchs policy that the practice of homosexuality is incompatible with Christian teaching. Discussion by the filmmakers of their powerful new documentary that begins by looking at the Civil Rights Movement in Selma and the LGBTQ Rights Movement that was galvanized at the Stonewall rebellion.
