Our purpose is twofold: (1) minimize the polluting of the environment with carcinogenic chemicals and agents; and (2) educate the general public on the subject of pollutant carcinogen exposure reduction. After over ten years of endeavoring to accomplish these significant changes, it has become evident that certain parts of our society are very much opposed to these changes. The corporations and the members of government who are allies of corporations are our adversaries. Most of the people who control corporations and government are driven by greed for money and social power. They oppose the pollution prevention and public education goals of Cancer Action NY because they have used chemicals in irresponsible ways to make fortunes and they want to keep the public in the dark about the poisoning of the Earth that they are responsible for. Two Cancer Action NY activists discuss the obstacles to change that exist in America and much of the rest of the industrialized world and what can be done to roll over top of those obstacles so as to create a total, spiritual, global, environmental revolution. We believe that good people talking to each other about bringing good change is the heart of environmental revolution. We believe that it is our duty to talk to lots of people about the need for a revolution that will take away the power of the corporations so as to render them incapable of continuing to poison the Earth. We believe that talking about the good environmental revolution will drive the evil ones out of their positions of power.
