They started out in the late 90's releasing albums on their own label Seeland Records. They also released albums on the pioneer punk label SST Records, most notably Escape from Noise, Helter Stupid, and U2. They were sued by U2's record label, Island Records, which brought them even more widespread publicity and notoriety hear Mark Hosler explain in this show.
