Phil and Laurel investigate who actually constitutes the attendance of Occupy Bay Street, and look at what's going on at the completely unreported Occupy Sudbury. As a graduate student and sociologist, she also takes on the antipathy towards the academic study of society and inequality that has existed since the Reagan years. In the second half of the program, Phil interviews Derrick O'Keefe, a B.C.-based organizer of the Canadian Boat to Gaza. People are impressed by the Canadian activists on the Freedom Flotilla, but now David Heap, for example, has been tasered and detained by the Israeli military.
