Art Sterritt is Executive Director of Coastal First Nations, an alliance of eight First Nations on the coast with traditional territories extending from Rivers Inlet up to Prince Rupert and the Haida Gwai. Just before he spoke, 10 year old Ta'Kaiya Blaney of Sliammon First Nation performed her song Shallow Water. Thanks to Alex Smith of Radio Ecoshock for sharing with us his recording of this event.
