Today on WINGS, What can increase harmony in a factionalized world? Music,can! And music can be taught. On September 12, 2022, a great music teacher died. She was nearly 97 (7 months older the than Queen). Having had her for a mother, I saw - or mostly heard - a lot of what she contributed to people's lives - things like physical and mental skills, the importance of practice, intense cooperation with others, and pleasure in an age-old craft. For years, she would not let me interview her, but finally I got my chance. Isabel Miriam Leon Samfield Posner died on September 12, 2022. As a parting gift to the world, she donated her body to the Elon University Osteopathic Medical School. Learn more about her on Facebook, on the Isabel Samfield Tribute Page.
