(non-final) Perhaps especially in North America, defining one's personal identity is a major life concern.  Today on WINGS, you'll hear from two millennial women in Canada who identify as witches. They talk about that in relation to family histories and contemporary expression. Robin Eriksson of campus-community radio CJSF interviewed two witches for the program IntraVenus, and shared with WINGS. Both guests were featured in a 2023 Canadian documentary titled Coven, available free on CBC Gem. Andra Zlatesku is a musician who plays guitar and saw, and sings in the two-person band Willow Switch.  WINGS purchased from BandCamp the Willow Switch song Baba Yaga, in which Andra sings about the fabled Slavic witch whose house walked about on chicken's legs, and who was rumoured to eat children.
