On Sunday, Oct. 8, 2013, Prof-emeritus Noam Chomsky joined with Afghan activist Malalai Joya to speak to the issue of Humanitarian Intervention. This event was held at the Unitarian Church in Harvard Sq. Cambridge, MA. And recorded by Chuck Rosina for the Boston Community Radio Project. Here now is Noam Chomsky. After Prof. Chomsky, Malalai Joya spoke. She is on a current North American tour for her new book, “A Woman Among War Lords.” Ms Joya then showed slides. There were very compelling, and in some cases, disturbing, but they do not translate well to a radio audience. After the slides, both speakers took Q’s from the audience.
