Bangash and Taylor expand the conversation to include the earlier illegal British seizure of an Iranian tanker on July 4, in Spanish territorial waters, as well as the Iranian nuclear agreement (the JCPOA), the meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement in Caracas, and U.S.-Pakistani relations in the context of U.S. attempts to extricate itself after 18 years of war in Afghanistan.
