Increasingly, corporate for-profit media are merging with the state. They are deciding what is best for the Canadian media landscape, what we should and shouldn't know. In particular, the state-media complex are promoting hate towards China, and racism toward Asians in Canada.
In this environment, actions such as Glenn Greenwald leaving the bought-off Independent and you donating to CIUT are increasingly important.
