Women accounted for all 140,000 jobs lost in the US economy during December 2020. Women are disproportionally represented among the low-wage workforce (64% with most paid less than $12/hour) and women of color have been especially hard hit during the pandemic (67.1% of Latina and 53.6% of Black women lost employment income since March
