In 2021, Kyle and Dan are typical mid-life crisis aged men looking for a career change. In Tucson, Dan is bullied by his supervisor, who claims trading is the same as gambling. An aspiring musician, Dan's band is rejected for a music contest. He confides in his girlfriend about fears of becoming like his supervisor despite his ambitions.

That night, Dan and Kyle meet their eccentric trading friend George "Big Papa" Papazov in the China Shop parking lot. Big Papa unveils a time tested futures trading course, powered by sheer charisma and (and plutonium he imports from Libyan terrorists). Big Papa sets the guys loose on his trading program, in exchange for a flimsy promise to hang out some time. Unfortunately, those same terrorists find Big Papa just as he starts up the training program is unceremoniously gunned down. This leaves the guys with no choice but to finish the courses and save George by mastering the future(s)!

Ok, for real... Neither of us did much trading over the month of August as we were both focusing on learning how to trade futures. As George is the futures king of kings, he came back to talk to us about our progress and answer our questions. He also was bound by law of The Bet to settle up. Dan also got his consequences and George shares some (not advice) tips to get out of a trading funk.
