Halloween edition. Decarbonizing our homes.
CC Music: Scott Holmes, David Hilowitz, Ross Bugde
To reach zero carbon by 2050, the US must electrify 5 million buildings a year. In this Halloween edition of Cool Solutions we explore a program giving people hands on experience with heat pumps and induction stoves, and a way to afford them; cities banning gas lines in new construction, and a contractor who found a way to retrofit old homes without expensive electrical upgrades.
