On HBO's RealTime, Bill Maher puts Ward Churchill in the hotseat with Michael Faughnan, the brother of a deceased victim of 9-11.
HBOs RealTime with Bill Maher.
Original video (.mov) was download from:
http://homepage.mac.com/onegoodmove/movies/wardchurchill.html and converted to an audio only file via AUDACITY software.
The interview is with regards to Churchill's post 9-11 essay "On The Justice of Roosting Chickens." In my opinion, the interview is a bit excruciating for Churchill, but Maher acts as excellent moderator, trying to get to the point of Churchill's argument instead of distracting people to his 'pedigree', etc. like the corporate 'news' media has done. The interview leaves the listener thinking about U.S. foreign policy and the blood on the hands of the 'little Eichmanns", exactly who they are, is ambiguous. Bill Maher suggested we should build a "why do they hate us so much?" memorial on the WTC site which doesn't go over well with Faughnan.
