In Colombia, nearly three weeks of sustained combat between the country's largest rebel group and the army has tested the resistance of the indigenous Nassa people- caught in the crossfire. The fighting, thus far, has killed 3 policemen, one nine-year-old villager and a one-year-old girl. 20 homes, the school church and hospital have also been left in ruin.
