Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.

Mindanao, Philipoines large Southern Island has vast natural resources and off-shore oil that are only beginning to be tapped. The island is home to the Philippines Moro/Muslim population and is strategically located across the Sulu sea from Indonesia. home of the worlds largest muslim population.
Historically, the Moro have resisted foreign intervention and continue to do so with the assertion of their right of self determination. But to this day, the Muslim areas are still the poorest in the country and the most exposed to the violence of war.
We welcome these 2 women from Mindanao. They will discuss the situation of Moro and Indigenous peoples, US military intervenetion, Islamophobia,, and large scale mining and agrobusiness expansion that threaten the indigenous peoples of the Island
