Safer tatooing sites have been set up inside 6 prisons across Canada as a pilot project by the Correctional Service of Canada.
Glenn Betteridge is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network. http://www.aidslaw.ca

The interview is self contained, with an intro and extro.

It looks at how these safer tatooing sites came to be, how they are helping to prevent the spread of blood borne viruses (Hepatitis C and HIV) and generally at the culture of tatooing inside prison. It also features criticisms of how the sites have been set up and what happens after the pilot project is over.
