Barlowe is an incredible speaker, and this is a talk she gave in Parksville, B.C. in mid-November 2005. She lays out the world water situation from the global to the local, speaking about what she has personally seen in Bolivia with the people's 'water war' against Bechtel, who sought to privatise their water supply. She outlines the gravity of the global situation and what corporations are planning in terms of the supply of fresh water and its accessibility for the general public
