Notes: Notes: In 2004, Dr. John Marciano began this series at the now departed Midnight Special Bookstore in Santa Monica, California. The series now continues at the Venice United Methodist Church Peace Center. Every month this group meets to discuss the assigned reading, individual chapters in Howard Zinn's "People's History of the United States".
