He said recently, "Israel is using weapons supplied by the United States to target Palestinian and Lebanese civilians and civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon in violation of the U.S. Arms Export Control Act and the Geneva Conventions." Robert Blecher is a fellow at the Center for Human Rights at the University of Iowa and an editor of Middle East Report. His current project is a history of partition in Palestine and Israel. He regularly works as a consultant with a variety of international organizations in the Middle East, including International Crisis Group and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. _____________________________________________________________ 6- Interview with Jamal Dajani of "MOSAIC: World News from the Middle East about recent media coverage of the current situation of Lebanon/Israel conflict. 07-16-06 Jamal Dajani is the producer of the television program on Link TV, "MOSAIC: World News from the Middle East," a half-hour program which provides a comprehensive look at both the narrative and pictures from the TV networks in the Mideast. They are currently featuring dramatic recent footage of the conflict in Israel and Lebanon.
