In this conversation, Mog Hesthammar discusses the challenges and rewards of bringing conscious attention to immediate experience. The challenges: the story-telling function of the mind ("we have a story for everything"), the ego's mandate to look good at all costs, and the human tendency to reject experience that conflicts with the current story or self image. The rewards: a richer personal reality, a greater sense of authenticity, and more mastery in every aspect of living.
Mog is available by private contract to conduct workshops for groups interested in deepening their connection to themselves and the world through the skillful use of attention.
