Both Rasha and Nay were speakers at "Out Against the Occupation" events in Montreal. Out Against the Occupation is a Montreal-based queer and LGBT response to the recent Israeli aggression against Lebanon and the ongoing occupation of Palestine.

Rafeef speaks at the opening of the "Boycotting Israeli Apartheid: The Struggle Continues" conference (October 6-8 in Toronto) dedicated to promoting the growing anti-apartheid movement in Palestine and abroad through a comprehensive boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) campaign targeting Israeli apartheid.
