He spoke on civil war in Iraq and possibly again in Lebanon, and the ongoing denial of the genocide of one and a half million Armenians by the Ottoman Turks in 1915. Robert Fisk's book: The Great War for Civilization was about to be published in Turkey and a controversy had erupted over a chapter on Armenia entitled: "The First Holocaust".
