78-year-old Betty Krawczyk has spent at total of almost three years in jail at various times for her participation in anti-logging protests. She is currently serving a 10-month sentence for her stand against Olympic development at Eagleridge Bluffs in West Vancouver on traditional Squamish territory. Betty is an outspoken environmentalist who is also using her voice to speak out about the conditions and lives of the women inside prison. Betty is currently being held at the Alouette Correctional Centre for Women. ACCW is the provincial jail for women in Maple Ridge, BC. More info on Betty: www.bettysearlyedition.blogspot.com
