Professor Richard Bonnie
Professor Bonnie teaches law at the University of Virginia and has contributed to dozens of legal textbooks. He sat on the 1972 Shafer Presidential Commission that recommended cannabis be removed from Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act. He and a fellow Shafer commissioner wrote The Marijuana Conviction: A History of Marijuana Prohibition in the US.

Dr. Lester Grinspoon
Dr Grinspoon is professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Harvard University and wrote the landmark book Marijuana Reconsidered. He is one of the earliest modern advocates of medical marijuana use and an expert on medical marijuana history.
