On April 8th and 9th the House Committee on Citizenship and Immigration will be hosting public hearings on four topics: undocumented workers, temporary foreign workers, immigration consultants and Iraqi refugees.
STATUS NOW is calling upon all supporters, allies, trade unions, community members, and organizations, to join us for a rally and press conference preceeding the first day of hearings to protest the proposed amendments to the Canadian Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, as well as demanding an immediate moratorium on deportations, and the implementation of a full and inclusive regularization program.
