Bruce Eriksen was a fierce advocate for the people of Vancouver’s downtown eastside, and an unlikely candidate for a musical biography. He was the founder of the Downtown Eastside Residents Association, a Vancouver city councilor and husband of MP Libby Davies. He’s the subject of a new play by journalist Bob Sarti, who knew Eriksen from his years with the Vancouver Sun.
