Supporters of the Oly 26 gathered in Sylvester Park in Downtown Olympia today to protest the Thurston County prosecutor’s decision to press charges against the Oly 26. The Oly 26 are 25 women and one man charged for their participation in the November 2007 Port of Olympia anti-war protests. Women gave speeches from the gazebo making connections between various forms of oppression including war and violence to women. A focus was also on women's participation in war resistance and the struggle to end war shipments locally.

The march went down 4th Ave and then to the gates of the Port of Olympia. People talked briefly of their experiences there before heading to the port plaza. People from the Oly 26 spoke about their experiences.
