The Algonquins of Barriere Lake, in Northern Quebec, blockaded highway 117 for a second time in over a month to demand the federal and provincial government send in negotiators and to honour their signed agreement. The SQ police respond violently with the riot squad, making 7 arrests, including targetted political arrests of the Acting Chief Benjamin Nottaway.
