Five hour and twenty minute program of Bryan Harvey music, including The Dads, House of Freaks, and Gutterball. Stories told by bandmates and friends. Bittersweet, as Bryan was tragically killed New Years Day 2006.

DJs Fontaine, Mike "The Lone Ranger" Joyner, Todd "Loblolly Pine" Ranson, and reporter John Wirt. Plus technical help from DJ Mordecai of the Double Standard Crew / Richmond Soul Stew.
Although not complete perfection, I think you'll find this show interesting, occasionally humorous, as well as bittersweet. We played recordings from his many bands from over the years (The Boys from Skateland, The Dads, House of Freaks, Gutterball, Poi Boi, NRG Krysys, solo work) plus other recordings that he played on. There are some rare recordings plus funny or tender stories.

Hour one includes some radio ads for The Dads record release party. Hour three has probably the most emotional bit of reminiscing, about 35 minutes in. Hour four has phoned-in anecdotes from Jonny Cecka (Useless Playboys, sorta roadie on HoF/Bangles tour), plus a Summer '87 Los Angeles interview with Bryan Harvey and Johnny Hott. Hour five has Mayzie Zechini dedicating "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" to Bryan's daughter Ruby (oh those ruby red slippers). And the last partial hour has live Gutterball from 2003 and a spontaneous quote from Shakespeare, "out out brief candle." A life snuffed out way too soon.
