The womenâs prison in BC marked a sad milestone in the first week of March. A prisoner named Jennifer Churchill died while serving time. She is the first woman to die inside the Alouette Correctional Centre for Women in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Cat Wilson and Betty Krawczyk discuss her death and talk about how it could have been prevented. Cat is a friend of Jenniferâs and served time with her. Betty has also served time at ACCW and is the author of Open Living Confidential â a book about her time inside.
