Dr. Birnbaum describes scientific research that demonstrates the association between dioxin exposure and increased breast cancer risk. Dioxin exposure can be reduced by consuming lower quantities of fat containing dairy products, meats and eggs. Open waste burning is listed as the largest source of dioxin releases to the environment in the US EPA dioxin inventory.
