Champion Jack Dupree grew up in New Orleans, traveled to Chicago, New York and eventually overseas where he spent the last 32+ years of his life. He collaborated with Brownie McGhee, Tony McPhee, King Curtis, Eric Clapton and Mickey Baker. He persevered through many hardships and continued making music all the way up to his death.
