For this 50th edition of Dissident Island Radio, and our final show of the year, we had IMCistas Maqui, Yossarian, Mara and Tony in to talk about the 10 year anniversaries of the infamous Seattle WTO protests, Global Indymedia - as well as the recent Signs of Revolt exhibition marking these occasions and much more - and where the future will be taking indymedia projects....
Justus recorded a little ditty about grassroots organising to stop the next generation of nuclear power plants. We also hear words from the Bike Bloc and Climate Justice Action about the imminent COP15 gathering and planned protest action.
The WAG (Whitechapel Anarchist Group) came in to have a quick look back on their 2009 and also some thoughts on what to expect from them in 2010.
Finally, on the wheels of steel, Sasquatch and DeVille with some laptop dubstep ending our year in style!
