Garth Carpenter is a naturalist, herpetologist, conservationist, and former game warden in Africa. He currently rescues injured and wounded animals and, if it is possible to do so, rehabilitates them back to the wild. His small organization, the Ashburton Sanctuary, is located outside the Kwa Zula Natal city of Pietermaritzburg in a conservancy area. He talks about his work and his rich and fulfilling life doing what he feels is his life's destiny.
